Cam is happy we did a good movie for once. Marielle has Cage News! Nicky's just here for a good time.  It's the 2018 animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, critically acclaimed and gorgeously directed. But is it a Cage movie? As Spider-Man Noir, he plays a supporting role. Worth it? Listen to find out. DISCLAIMER: The audio quality is not as good as usual. We have tried our best to clean it up, but there are significant echoes in parts and sadly the mics picked up Marielle's children in the background. Hopefully you get as much out of this as we did - not that much. 

What does David Lynch even do every day? What was Laura Dern thinking? Is that Willem Dafoe's real face? How many times can you swear in three lines of dialogue? Is the lead character's name Sailor? We're back for 2019! Except we recorded this last year so in fact with was made we weren't back. It's like having a time machine! Speaking of time machines, Marielle wishes she had a time machine so she could warn herself before watching this movie. It's the one you've both been waiting for, it's Cage vs Conspiracies, it's National Treasure!

It's a movie where Nicolas Cage...rows a boat. Gently down a stream. That's pretty much it. Marielle now owns this movie, Cam felt owned BY this movie, and Nicky can't stop saying 'EH' in a poor Canadian accent. But seriously what even is this movie? Astro Boy. He's brave. He's gentle. He's wise. But the 2009 CGI adaptation is none of these things. Bill Nighy? Kristen Bell? Sam Jackson?? Eugene Levy??? Charlize Theron??? We're back! We took three months off and chose to return with a terrible decision, 2002's whitewashed war movie Windtalkers. It should be the story of two dispossessed people forced to fight for their oppressors, but no, it's about a dumb white guy and his mates. Marielle loves Adam Beach, Cam didn't watch the whole movie and Nicky is just generally resentful. Music from Skin Mechanix, available at Magnatune.  

Ho x3! It's a special Holiday Edition of UnCaged and we are joined by writer Erin Riley for this Cagey Christmas movie, 2000's The Family Man. On one level we discuss issues of class and social changes, but on another we crush hard on Téa Leoni and on yet another, we discuss if this film could be made in a post-9/11 world. It's all the holiday fun as we ponder the fate of Family Cage and the children, and Erin reveals why she wanted to do this movie since we started two years ago. Have a very happy festive period, and you can hear more from us next year!   

Mamma Mia! Here we go again! It's another movie where Cage's accent is all over the place, into stereotype territory, particularly odd since he is an Italian-American playing an Italian! It's Captain Corelli's Mandolin, based on a very depressing book. Is it a depressing movie? Well, it has a cast of notable Greek stars like John Hurt, Christian Bale and Penelope Cruz. An Oliver Stone film about conspiracies and how bad the government is? Surely not!
